Meet The Team

Without a doubt, we are the condo renovation experts.

Our renovation project leaders have built condos from the ground up, literally. We have worked on condo buildings (mid to high-rise) in site construction superintendent roles.

From managing the site construction at early excavation stages to client key handover at completion, we have witnessed it all.

Dave Hulme

Site Lead

Go-getter, diplomat, conceptualiser, big-picture thinker, attention to detail.

These are just a few of Dave’s characteristics when it comes to his professional career. Dave has been in the construction industry for the last +20 years, spending the majority of his time managing the finishing end of high-rises. In the past decade, Dave has led the completion of high-end condo builds in the Kerrisdale and West Vancouver neighbourhoods. “It is very refreshing to take a project from concept to final build without cutting corners, paying heavy attention to every minuscule detail.” – Dave Hulme Dave is a very patient team player who brings everyone together, making for smooth project completions. His leadership in construction execution is second to none. A father, a husband, and a friend, Dave happily resides in the Lower Mainland and enjoys time with his wife and children. An aquarist and bird-watcher at heart, Dave often takes nature walks with his dog Nico.

Edgar Delgado

Framing & Drywall

Perfected his art of framing and drywalling while in construction the past 15 years.

As a former car mechanic who ran his own mechanic shop abroad, Edgar is very resourceful in his thinking and project execution. His past experiences of working with his hands and putting in maximum effort are disciplined traits that are hard to find today. A very honest and sincere person, Edgar exemplifies workmanship and a team player mentality. When not at work, Edgar enjoys a getaway to his self-sustained cabin in the middle of nowhere, along with his partner.

Camilche Montero

Carpenter

Meticulous attention to detail and passion for perfection.

Camilche is a native of Cuba and has called Canada home for the past +10 years. Growing up around Havana has exposed Camilche to what life’s simple pleasures are: family, friends, and community. A resourceful thinker who thinks outside the box, Camilche has been an absolute pleasure to have on the team. His meticulous attention to detail and passion for perfection make Camilche an excellent addition to the team. When not at work, Camilche enjoys time with his wife & daughter, while embracing all the beauty that Vancouver has to offer.

Jason Baptist

Condoworks Partner

Hands-on knowledge and industry experience of 20+ years.

Jason is a Condoworks partner who undertakes projects in conjunction with the Condoworks team. His hands-on knowledge and industry experience of +20 years have been valuable in completing projects in a timely manner. With his dedication to customer satisfaction and meeting project deadlines, Jason been vital in the growth of Condoworks. Specifically, Jason is geographically focused on projects East of Vancouver, handling a variety of transformations.

Matthew Bula

Carpenter

Problem-solving approach to every challenge.

If you’ve met Matt on a project site or watched him run a crew, then you know that he is the go-getter type with an outgoing personality. Always learning and taking a keen interest in everything construction, Matt is a cornerstone of our team! With a Red Seal certification in carpentry, Matt takes immense joy in transforming ideas on paper into idealization. His problem-solving approach to every challenge is methodical and collaborative, strengthened by his team approach. When not at work, Matt enjoys deep bike trails and camping, along with his passion for learning.

Babak Nikraftar

Founder

Problem solver, dreamer, out-of-box thinker, outcome-driven visionary.

Babak’s career began in his early 20’s as a building envelope technician of leaky condos. He witnessed the consequences of bad design and workmanship. A departure from leaky condos led him to new condo construction and eventual client key handovers. Naturally, the next step was to construction manage and learn the processes that lead to a finished product. The experience exposed him to client concerns and what the end-user expects in a new condo. It was here that Babak’s keen eye for detail developed. With a vision to better the construction industry by streamlining tasks, Babak has led several successful construction enterprises including renovations and new builds. With a passion for the design and curation of interiors, Babak’s wish is to enhance condo interiors by breaking away from conformity and tastefully transforming spaces.

Aishwarya (Ash) Audity

Tech Coordinator (BCIT Intern Student)

Keen interest in systems & and procedures.

Ash is a current student at BCIT enrolled in the Architectural and Building Technology program, with prospects of completing her studies in 2024. She has been a summer intern with Condoworks coordinating our tech innovations for future growth. Her keen interest in systems & and procedures within construction has been a valuable asset in propelling our tech ideas forward.

Rebecca Wong

Website & Social Media Intern

Passion for design and user interactions.

Rebecca is a current student at Emily Carr University enrolled in the Interaction Design Program with prospects of completing her studies in 2025. She's passionate about design because it involves connecting and developing an understanding for people. With empathy, she develops thoughtful and creative solutions for our website and social media content.
