When a world-class poker champion and an internationally recognized interior designer join forces to create the ultimate abode, the results are astounding! Themed around mystery & prestige, this truly one-of-a-kind condo transformation was an ultimate ode to bending design principle rules.
The creative energy of This Is Dizign poured vitality into this house-sized condo by stripping away the inefficient layout, reducing the kitchen to what the client’s functional needs were and adding a secondary bedroom for their kids. Next, dropped ceiling lines were eliminated to take advantage of the 270-degree views.
Lastly, imported materials and textures were added to every corner of the condo to produce an unequalled aesthetic.
Central to every room was the “page-flip” feature: paying homage to the client’s passion for poker. Designed to capture the eye, yet create an enigma, the feature is a replication of holding poker cards close to your chest.
