Situated on the Fairview slopes of Vancouver, this 1980s-built townhouse presented everything the client needed: ample space spread over 3 floors, amazing views of downtown, plenty of natural light, and an attached car garage. However, the outdated townhouse was in need of a transformation to fulfill its full potential.
The design team at Jamie Banfield Design took this project to the next level by opening up walls between the living and kitchen areas, re-vamping the entire kitchen layout, and re-drawing the principal bedroom layout with an ensuite, while taking advantage of the skylights and ample natural light.
A heat pump was added on the roof to provide air-conditioning and heat while the existing wood-burning fireplace was revived for décor.
